Australia based Kenyan winger Bruce Kamau has completed the move to Melbourne City FC on a two year deal after a fine 2015 – 16 season at Adelaide United, where he won a double.
The club has announced his acquisition after a season that saw the 21 – year old featuring regularly for Adelaide United as they won the Premiership and the domestic cup.
Kamau scored three goals in the season including the winner in the Round 20 encounter over Melbourne Victory.
Melbourne City FC Head Coach John van Schip described Kamau as a bright prospect as he backed the winger to provide extra options in attack for the upcoming campaign.
“We’re very happy to welcome Bruce into our squad for next season. He is still young, has shown positive signs and he is a player we see as having great potential for further development with us,” van Schip told the club’s official portal.
Kamau got his debut for Adelaide United in 2014 and made a total of 29 appearances in two A-League seasons, including 18 matches in his second season with the South Australian club.
