Chelsea will face a battle to keep hold of midfielder Cesc Fabregas in the January transfer window, the Mirror reports.
The former Barcelona midfielder has struggled for game time this season under Antonio Conte and is reported to be on the wanted list of Serie A clubs Juventus and both AC Milan and Inter Milan.
The 29-year old was a late substitute during the 2-1 home defeat by Liverpool, on Friday, as he had very little time to influence the outcome.
Conte had insisted last week that Fabregas is part of his plans at Stamford Bridge, but the Spain World Cup winner is unlikely to be happy with a bit-part role at Chelsea these days.
He is keen to be part of Spain’s bid to reach the World Cup finals in Russia in 2018 – and he understands that his chances will be limited without regular first-team football.
AC Milan made an unsuccessful attempt to sign Fabregas during the summer window, but it is understood they will try again at the start of next year.
And they will have Serie A rivals in Juventus and Inter Milan who would be keen to take him on loan for the second half of the season.
