Former Nigeria striker John Utaka has said the comibination of Samson Siasia and Emmanuel Amuneke as Super Eagles coaches is good, as he expects them to do well, as well as saying he expects John Obi Mikel and Mohammed Salah to a big say in the games against Egypt.
The duo were announced as replacement for Sunday Oliseh, who resigned just a month to the crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers aginst Egypt and Utaka, who started his career abroad in Egypt, says he believes Siasia and Amuneke will do well.

The new look Super Eagles coaching crew ha since named 42 players for the games, and while there are ongoing debates on Nigeria’s best team at the moment, Utaka is of the opinion that it doesn’t matter who is selected as all the players will be fired up for the games.
“I think whoever the coach picked will be more than ready for the match at hand. It is difficult say but it is up to the coach to assemble his starting 11.”
The 34-year old also went on to tip Mohammed Salah to be the one player that can cause the most problems for the Super Eagles.
“Mohamed Salah will (cause problems) because he is quick and very dangerous on counter attacks,” said Utaka.
He then went on to add that John Obi Mikel should be Nigeria’s most influential player in the game, even as he reckons the Super Eagles have also got quick players in attack.
“We have quick players in the attack as well but I think Obi Mikel will be the key to Nigeria’s play because he knows his midfield duties.”
