Late on Friday night, Kenyan internationals Johanna Omollo and Ayub Timbe will get face to face when their teams – Royal Antwerp and Lierse SK respectively face off and Omollo is looking forward to the battle.
Omollo knows it will be tough but with promotion in their sights, he notes that a win will be very welcome with the possibility of reclaiming top spot thereafter.
Royal Antwerp takes to the game the best form of the two but Omollo is not banking on that to deliver a win though he still wants his team to bag three points.
“It is going to be a very difficult game but an important one. If we can get the three points at Lierse, this is a huge boost for the home match against Cercle Brugges -and move back to the top.
“It remains a derby and then plays the standings and the shape of the day does not really play a role. Everyone wants to win a match. Just for the fans you want to grab the three points.
“You feel that this race more than any other living fans are ready and now it is up to us to also give them something, we will do everything to get the three points with it,” he told Voetbalkrant.com.
