23-year-old Spanish forward Jese Rodriguez has completed the move to French side Paris Saint Germain from Real Madrid and signed a five-year contract for a fee reported to be around €25 million.
He becomes the second signing from the La Liga under new coach Unai Emery and the former Spain under-21 international has been touted as a big boost to the team’s attacking options.
He joins earlier arrivals Grzegorz Krychowiak, Thomas Meunier, Hatem Ben Arfa and Giovani Lo Celso as Emery assembles a new-look attack after the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who joined Manchester United.
Upon signing Jese told the club’s official website: “I am delighted to join Paris Saint-Germain, who have become one of Europe’s most competitive clubs.
“Like Paris Saint-Germain, I have big ambitions for the coming seasons and it will be a great pleasure to work under the direction of Unai Emery, who has developed an excellent reputation in Spain, and across Europe, for his quality as a coach. I can’t wait to begin this next challenge of my career.”
