Super Eagles striker, Alex Iwobi showed his seniors at Arsenal what they need to do in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich as he netted a brace in the 2-0 win over the youth side of the German club.
Arsenal are condemned to win against the Bavarians tonight at the Emirate if they are to remain in contention in this season’s UEFA Champions League and they can now draw inspiration from the performance of the 19-year old Nigerian striker.
Iwobi turned the game around for the Young Gunners scoring two goals in five minutes.
The ambitious striker who is hoping for more time with the senior Arsenal squad if granted the opportunity by Coach Arsene Wenger scored in the 73rd and 78th minute of Tuesday afternoon contest at the Meadow Park.
Iwobi recalled has made his international bow for Nigeria during the October friendly in Belgium between the Super Eagles and the Leopards of Congo, he was also given some playing time in the 3-0 trouncing of Cameroon by Coach Sunday Oliseh.
