The Nigeria Football Federation today appointed Samson Siasia, Emmanuel Amunike, Alloy Agu and Salisu Yusuf as replacement for Sunday Oliseh.
The announcement that came via their official Twitter handle and will see the quartet take over the team immediately ahead of the double-header against Egypt next month.
Sunday Oliseh resigned from his post as head coach due to his running battle with the heads of the NFF after his infamous twitter rant that made him unpopular amongnst the fans.
That move prompted the Technical Committee of the NFF to meet at the Glass House and decided that the quartet of Siasia, Amunike, Salisu, and Agu will replace Oliseh.
It was confirmed that Siasia will be the new interim Super Eagles Head Coach, assisted by Emmanuel Amunike and Salisu Yusuf while Alloy Agu will be the goalkeepers trainer.
“We have appointed a consortium of coaches led by Samson Siasia and wwill be assisted by Emmanuel Amuneke, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu,” NFF Technical Committee chairman, Chris Green was quoted as saying by FCNaija.com.
According to reports from various camps of the coaches, they have all impressed delight with handling the national team and are focused on the task of grabbing the ticket to the African Cup of Nation.
