Sweden football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced that he will leave Paris Saint German at the end of the current season just few hours after helping the French kings win Ligue 1 in historical fashion.
According to reports, Ibrahimovic’s wife is angling for a return to Milan amid speculations that premier league sides are interested in the services for the forward who has ruled supreme in France.
“For the moment I will not be at PSG next season,” the 34-year-old allegedly told BeIN Sports. “I still have a month and a half here.”
This latest comment goes against the wish of president Nasser Al-Khelaifi desire to keep him at the club.
Ibrahimovic, 34, has scored 27 times in Ligue 1 this season – more than double any other player in France’s top-flight – and he was thrilled to play his part in winning another trophy.
On the history title win the former Barcelona forward said: “Every victory has a special taste,” he said to Canal+ after the match.
“I am very happy to play with all these fantastic players and for almost four years we have won everything.
“I do not know how long it is going to last, so I took this opportunity. I don’t know what else to say.”
Paris Saint German became the first team in football history to win the domestic league in the Month of March with an astonishing 77 points with eight matches left to play this season.
