Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi will be ‘enemies’ on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium when Manchester City will be up against Arsenal.
Already, Iheanacho has declared that he raring to go against Iwobi in what has been dubbed ‘battle of brothers’ in some quarters.
” I will be up against my brother, Alex Iwobi, who I know really well from the Nigerian national team – he’s a great player and he’s looking forward to playing against us today” Iheanacho told City’s official website ahead of Arsenal’s visit.
Iheanacho and Iwobi have widely been touted as the future of the Nigeria national football team and having been spectacular for their respective clubs in recent times, many are keen to see how the talented duo will fare against each other.
Already, Iheanacho has posited that the game against the Gunners who he reckons as a clever side will not be an easy one but he was quick to add that it is a must win game for his side.
“They are a clever, quick team and I think this will be a very tough game for us, but one we have to win.” the 19-year old forward enthused.
