Odion Ighalo’s Watford FC manager Quique Flores has expressed dissatisfaction over his team’s second half showing against Arsenal at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
The Nigerian international who is the top scorer in English football in 2015 was on the receiving end of a 3-0 thumping by Arsenal in a space 10-15 minutes after keeping the visitors at bare for over an hour.
Reacting to the humiliating score line, a frustrated Flores in a post-match interview said;
“I’m a little frustrated. In the first half we played really well.
“We have to make an amazing effort if we want to make the level. We have to be positive with our first hour. The match was finished in a 10-15 minute spell.
“I am really happy with the first half performance. We had chances and I felt we would get the first goal.” Sanchez is quoted as saying on the BBC Sports.
Watford who have never won a Premier League game in the month of October, losing six and drawing four are now placed 14th in the Premier League. Next up is a trip to Stoke where Ighalo will face compatriot Peter Odemwingie.
