Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has declared that this weekend Premier League clash at home to Arsenal is next on his mind after completing his national team assignment against Cameroon on Sunday.
Ighalo put the icing on the cake as the Super Eagles whipped the Indomitable Lions 3-0 in a high profile friendly game in Brussels and the Watford goal poacher told Brila FM before exiting the national team camp in Belgium that wrecking Arsenal is next on his agenda.
“I am returning to England to start training for the Arsenal game, Arsenal is a big team so it is not going to be easy. It’s not a team to take lightly because they are playing very well at the moment… but in football anything can happen, I hope to be at my best again and help my team get all three points” Ighalo stated.
With five goals to his name already and 21 goals in the calendar year, Ighalo is seen as one the hottest strikers in England at the moment and should prove a hand full for the Gunners’ defence.
