Odion Ighalo has ended speculations about his future by signing a new five-year deal with Watford.
There had been reports linking the striker away from Vicarage Road, with an unnamed Chinese club making a massive £38m bid for him, but the Nigerian has put an end to all of that by extending his deal with the Hornets.
Ighalo scored 17 times for Watford last season as they remained in the Premier League after gaining promotion from the Championship, and was a subject of interest from several other clubs.
The former Udinese striker was however not interested in a move away from England, with most of the interests coming outside the Premier League.
He has now signed his second five-year deal in the space of 12 months, penning improved terms this time around after impressing last season.
He started the season brightly last term, but fizzled out during the second half of the campaign but his performances were enough to earn them another season in the top flight.
