Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo says a potential move to Manchester United will be a dream come true.
The 26-year-old Watford goal poacher has been in spectacular form in the 2015/2016 season scoring 14 goals in 20 premier league appearances which has attracted interest from La Liga leaders, Atletico Madrid and Italian giants AS Roma.
‘I have played in Italy and Spain but I want to stay in England,’ the former told Brilafm. ‘I love it here, the Club Chairman said it in a press conference that am not for sale under any circumstance; the coach and the fans love me, and I want to stay.
‘This is my first season in Premier League and I have read about the stories too but playing in England is my desire. Transfer matters are unpredictable; if for instance Manchester United come with an offer I could join, who wouldn’t want to.’
Ighalo finished 2015 as the highest goalscorer in English football with 30 goals and also holds the record as the only player in premier history for Watford to have scored in six consecutive matches.
