The home-based Eagles will get to know their foes for the 2016 African Nations Championship which holds now on November 15 in Kigali, three days earlier than originally scheduled, 366football.com can report.
The Confederation of African Football had earlier announced that the draw ceremony for the biennial competition reserved for senior players plying their trade in their domestic leagues would take place on November 18.
The home-based Eagles qualified for the competition last Sunday after edging out Burkina Faso 2-0 on aggregate courtesy of goals from Gbolaan Salami and Bature Yaro.
They will be joined by 15 other countries: hosts Rwanda, Cameroon, Cote d’lvoire, Mali, Angola, Gabon, DR Congo, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tunisia, Uganda, Niger, Guinea, Ethiopia and Morocco.
The CHAN will be staged in three Rwanda cities of Kigali, Gisenyi and Bature from January 16 to February 7, 2016.
