Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has revealed his desired to stay at the club for next season despite huge interest from Real Madrid.
The Belgium international found his best form in the closing stages of the season after struggling for the majority of the campaign.
Hazard has been linked with a move away this summer with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid linked with moves for the Belgian, and while the player himself has claimed that there is a strong chance of staying at Stamford Bridge, he has refused to pledge his future, much like teammate Thibaut Courtois.
“If I tell you I’m staying at Chelsea with 100% certainty, this is not the case,” Hazard told reporters “For now, I’m 100% sure I’ll compete at the Euros. After, I will think of Chelsea.
“But I want to finish well at the club. So like Thibaut, I will be at Chelsea 99% next season. We all know my season. I will not repeat, it was bad, but now it’s over and I’m focusing for the Euro.”
Hazard has been elected captain of the Belgian national team ahead of the 2016 Euro to replace injured skipper Vincent Kompany.
