Manchester City keeper Joe Hart has expressed disappointment with his sides’ goalless draw against Norwich at Carrow Road.
The Citizens were expected to grab the three points at stake to close the gap on league leaders Leicester City but they failed to create chances and came out with just one point.
“It was a disappointing performance. Myself and John Ruddy could have had the afternoon off,” Hart told the Manchester Evening News.
“You have to give credit to Norwich for how they defended – they defended in numbers and made a few changes which worked for them, but I’m not really bothered about Norwich, it’s about what we do and we weren’t really good enough to win the game if I’m honest.
“We’ll keep going because that’s the spirit we have here and have had since I first arrived, but sometimes it’s not good enough. “We needed more invention, more brilliance and we relied a bit too much on that today and it wasn’t available.”
