Pep Guardiola could one day become Argentina Coach so suggests Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
Aguero claims that his Spanish gaffer would “love” to one day manage the Argentina national side.
The 45-year-old has enjoyed great success with both Barcelona and Bayern Munich at club level, while also making hitting the ground running with the Citizens.
Guardiola would seemingly be open to switching to managing an international side in the future, however, having confided in leading marksman Aguero after being linked with the job in the past.
“He is an amazing guy,” Aguero told TyC Sports. “There is a reason he did as well as he did in Bayern and won everything. He is a winner.
“Do you remember there was talk about the national team a while ago? [Guardiola] told me, ‘You guys didn’t call me. I would love to coach you.'”
Aguero is expected to be fit for Man City’s meeting with Everton in the Premier League on Saturday after shaking off an injury picked up while on international duty.
