As the build-up to the Super Sunday clash in the German Bundesliga continues, Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola has warned his defenders that they should be extra careful with Gabonese danger-man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is capable of wrecking any lethargic defence.
Guardiola added that if his side fail to be at their very best against the in-form Dortmund forward, they will be punished and their hitherto perfect start to the season may be punctured.
“Aubameyang is incredibly dangerous. He has a lot of quality and is very fast,” the Spaniard told reporters. “Our defence will have to remain alert all game. “It is nearly impossible to keep him quiet when he gets some space.”
Aubameyang has already found the net nine times in the league and he will be hoping for more against the reigning champions.
Bayern and Dortmund are the only two unbeaten sides in the Bundesliga after seven games albeit Dortmund have had course to drop point unlike the Bavarians who have been perfect all season.
