Kaizer Chiefs defender Morgan Gould was one of the PSL’s best defenders down the years. He made a name for himself winning titles with SuperSport United and then for Chiefs, but last season was out of the frame.
Gould’s career has been ravaged by injuries in the last two years, which made it difficult to break in. When fit he was behind a string of Chiefs defenders.
At the age of 33 he is weighing up his options to leave the Amakhosi.
“Now we’re looking at a number of options locally and maybe abroad too. There are options in Asia and obviously in India which is a possibility,” Gould’s representative Glin Binkin told Timeslive.
“He enjoyed his time at Kaizer Chiefs while towards the end of and it didn’t work out for him as well as he’d hoped,” Binkin said.
“He never had long-term injuries and then at Chiefs he had two pretty bad injuries. But credit to him. Many people would have given up when they had the second injury. But Morgan came back strong and at the end of the season played in all of Chiefs last three matches,” Binkin said.
