The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash pitting champions Gor Mahia against Sony Sugar has had yet another shift; the match, at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday 23 April will now be kicking off at 2pm and not 4.15pm as earlier listed.
The change has been occasioned by the fact that the match will now be aired live on SuperSport Select 2 and the shift means the earlier listed match for 2pm at the same venue: Sofapaka versus City Stars will be played from 4.15pm.
“The Gor Mahia-SoNy Sugar match scheduled to be played at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday 23 April 2016 will now kick-off at 14h00 on the same day and venue and not 16h15 as earlier communicated.
“The match will be broadcast live on SuperSport Select 2 (Channel 234).
“This means that kick-off of the Nairobi City Stars-Sofapaka match which was scheduled to kick-off at 14h00 on the same day and venue has now been moved to 16h15.
“This does not affect live broadcast of the Kakamega Homeboyz-Thika United (kick-off 14h00) and AFC Leopards-Ulinzi Stars (kick-off 16h15) matches which will be played in Mumias on the same day.
“The latter two matches will be shown live on SuperSport 9 East (Channel 219),” the statement from the KPL confirmed.
