Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia will be gunning for another win after the 3 – 1 victory over Chemelil Sugar on Saturday 10 September when they host Ulinzi Stars in a rescheduled fixture on Wednesday 14 September.
The Gor Mahia Team Manager Jolawi Abondo termed the match a big one, adding that they have prepared well for it, terming Ulinzi a tough opponent since both teams bear title ambitions.
In the game, Gor Mahia will be looking to reduce the gap at the top to just two points behind Tusker and Obondo believes it is possible.
“We have prepared well and we are ready for them. The focus in the team is right and of course the win over Chemelil Sugar gave the players good confidence.
“Ulinzi Stars is a good team and we will be approaching the game with the respect such a clash demands but in the end, knowing too well the stakes ahead of the game, we will be hoping to come out with three points,” he said.
