Ahead of their coronation on Sunday 1 November, Gor Mahia will be looking to cap their season with a win to keep their unbeaten run intact and with the day set for the final awarding, fans have been asked to celebrate responsibly.
Gor Mahia will be bagging their third straight trophy and the club management is seeking to steer fans from invading the pitch in celebration as has been the case in the last two years.
The club’s Organising Secretary David Kiilo has urged fans to stay away from the pitch after the game so as to allow the players go celebrate with the trophy and savor their win after a tough season.
“I would like to ask the fans to conduct themselves in decorum and give the players an opportunity to savor the moment they have worked hard for all season.
“It is always good for them to conduct themselves in a good way even as we seek to attract sponsorship. This season, they have behaved themselves quite well and we expect the same on Sunday,” he said.
Gor Mahia will be crowned after the game against Muhoroni Youth.
