Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants Tusker FC have finally managed their first win in the preseason tour of Uganda.
After managing a draw and a loss the brewers headed to the Tuesday 2 February clash against Sadolin FC badly in need of a win and Ghanaian striker Owusu Steven was on fire on the day.
The striker netted a hat trick in the game as Tusker went on to win 3 – 1. His first goal came on just the second minute but Norman Orjik got the equalizer on the 20th minute.
Owusu netted his second on the 40th minute to see Tusker take a 2 – 1 lead to the break and on resumption, hit the third, completing his treble on the 63rd minute after pouncing on a defensive error in the Sadolin box.
Owusu will be looking to make a final impression when Tusker plays SC Villa in their last preseason friendly on Wednesday 3 February at Nakivubo Stadium.
