Ghana and Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is convinced that his Italian club can still go a long way under Coach Max Allegri, starting with the Coppa Italia.
The Bianconeri officially extended their contract with the coach who led them to the UEFA Champions League final last season until June 2018.
Asamoah in an interview as reported on Sky Sport Italia said: “So many teams try to win in Italy and we won five titles in a row. These four Scudetti I was involved in are the best things in my career and I’m very pleased to be a part of this group.
“We had difficulties at the start of the season, but did well to recover quickly, realise what the problem was and what we wanted to do.
“On a personal level I can say that I want to continue winning and I’m happy to do it with Coach Allegri. I am fine anywhere he wants me to play.
“He is very good, is always close to the players both on the field and off. He helps those who play and those who are on the pitch less often.
“I am convinced that with him we can go a long way still. It would be a unique achievement and won’t be easy.
“As for next season, we must continue to do well in Italy, but can and must grow in Europe too. The Champions League is a great dream for us.” Asamoah stated
Juventus have won a fifth straight Scudetto, but are also on track to retain the Coppa Italia, as they face Milan in the Final on May 21.
