Leicester City are reportedly in talks with Danish outfit FC Copenhagen over the signing of Ghana international Daniel Amartey.
BBC Radio Leicester reports that that Amartey, who has won six caps for Ghana and has previously played for Swedish side Djurgarden could join the Foxes for a fee of up to £6m.
The Danish club has confirmed that the 21-year-old, capable of playing in defence and midfield, could move to the Premier League side in January.
Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri had previously said that he did not plan to make any more signings in January, following the capture of winger Demarai Gray from Birmingham City.
Leicester sit second on the Premier League log, level on points with leaders Arsenal but separated by goals difference with 17 games remaining.
