Four players stand suspended for action for their respective teams when the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) advances for the 24th round of matches on Saturday 10 – Sunday 11 September.
Thika United will be the most affected as they will miss the services of two key players; skipper Dennis Odhiambo and striker Eugene Mukangula, both who are on red cards picked in the match against Bandari the last time out.
The two will thus miss the clash against Posta Rangers at the Ruaraka Stadium set for Sunday. Odhiambo, being on his second red card of the season, will also miss the match against Sony Sugar next.
Tusker FC will be without midfielder George Mandela who is on a red card picked in the team’s last match, against Kakamega Homeboyz and so will miss the match against Ushuru FC on Sunday.
Gor Mahia will have to do without Burundian international Karim Nizigiyimana has five yellow cards for the season, the latest having been picked in the game against Posta Rangers the last time out. As such, he will miss the match against Chemelil Sugar on Saturday.
