As the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) enters the 27th week of action this weekend, four players will not be cleared to feature for their teams.
KCB FC’s Luke Ochieng will be locked out as he carries a red card from his team’s last game against Nakuru AllStars and as a result he will be locked out of the game against Ushuru FC on Sunday 4 October.
Ushuru FC will also not be able to pick on Nigerian midfielder Nelson Marasowe for the game against KCB as he is serving a ban having picked a red card in the last match.
City Stars keeper Ronny Kagunzi will miss the trip to Mombasa where his team will be playing Bandari FC on Saturday 3 October. Kagunzi is on five yellow cards heading to the weekend.
Ulinzi Stars defender Omar Mbongi is also locked out, having picked his fifth yellow card of the season in the game against Gor Mahia the last time out. As a result, he will miss the match against Chemelil Sugar in Kisumu.
