The Nigeria U-20 team the Flying Eagles continued their preparations for next month’s U20 AFCON qualifier against Burundi as they played a test match on Friday against Dabo Babes of Kano.
The Flying Eagles showed no mercy as they thrashed their opponents 6-0 at FIFA Goal Project in Abuja on Friday.
Wolfsburg of Germany youngster Victor Osimhen has continued his goal scoring spree as he was among the goal scorers when the Flying Eagles turned on style yet again to record an emphatic win.
Samuel Chuwkueze was also among the goals as coach Emmanuel Amuneke continued the building process for his U-20 team.
Aside the duo of Osimhen and Chuwkueze, Arsenal-bound Kelechi Nwakali also gave a commendable performances as the Flying Eagles fired home five goals in the first half, before rung several changes to the main team in the second half.
The Flying Eagles, made up of the 2015 U17 World Cup-winning side where heads above the Dabo Babes who mostly played to the gallery and paid dearly in the long run.
Friday’s big win is the second in as many matches for the Coach Amuneke tutored side that last week beat Sia-1 Academy 4-1 in another test game.
