The newly elected Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Nick Mwendwa has revealed he will be naming three new key officials to aid in the running of federation affairs.
Mwendwa is still settling in after his election to the top seat three weeks ago and though he has not declared who will be the new officials, it is expected the new appointees will be drawn from members of his campaign team.
He only hinted that he will be naming the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Head of Competitions.
“We shall be making a key announcement on Tuesday (1 March) that relates to the running of the Federation. For a start the new appointments will touch on three positions of CEO, CFO and Head of Competitions,” he said.
The current CEO, Michael Esakwa, it is expected, will be named in a new capacity to aid in the continuity with the running of federation affairs.
