The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has commenced the search for the national U17 boys’ team head coach with a notice, calling for applications from capable coaches.
In a letter addressed to the FKF branches, the FKF national office has directed branch chairmen and secretaries to communicate with coaches from their regions to send their applications and CVs for consideration.
The letter, however, does not state the deadline for the applications.
“Football Kenya Federation is looking to recruit an U17 boys’ national team coach. By copy of this letter you are requested to ask any interested coaches in your branch to send in their CVs to the National Secretariat in Nairobi.
“The CVs shall be used to shortlist suitable candidates who will then be called in for interviews from which the successful candidate shall be picked.
“We trust that you shall impart this information to your members.” The letter signed by FKF CEO Robert Muthomi read.
The Kenya U17 team is drawn to play their Malawi counterparts on 24-26 June and on 1-3 July, 2016 in the first round of qualifiers towards the 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations to be held in Madagascar from 2-16 April 2017.
