The 26-year-old was a super starter for the Danish side until he picked up an injury which kept him out for two weeks. He returned last week but was only good enough for a bench role against Nordsjælland.
Interestingly, OB Odense have won just one game this season with four draws already and the Nigerian is hoping they start picking up wins now that he is fit again.
“Since I returned from injury, I’ve been in some reserve matches to see how my legs feel and after the games it feels good. So am fit and ready now,” Izunna was quoted as saying by FCNaija.com.
OB Odense are currently in eight place on the log after their 3-1 win over Nordsjælland last weekend which took them seven points within leaders Brøndby who have 14 points.
