The FIFA delegation sent over as the observers in the Wednesday 10 February Football Kenya Federation (FKF) National Elections has passed a clean bill of health for the polls conducted at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani.
Tanzanian Leodegar Tenga, a member of the observers’ team stated that the polls were among the most mature and best elections he has ever come across and called on the rest of Africa to emulate the polls.
He commended the electoral board as well as the delegates for a splendid job that he termed free and fair.
“I think this should be an example to the rest of Africa. This was one of the most peaceful and mature elections and I want to commend Kenyans and the delegates for doing a wonderful job. The electoral board has also delivered a free and fair exercise and no one can complain. There were no shouting matches, everything was conducted in a mature manner,” he said.
Nick Mwendwa’s Team Change won all the seats on offer.
