Barcelona are expected to have more fire power upfront as they hunt for their third FIFA Club World Cup title in Sunday’s final clash against River Plate.
It is understood that the duo of Lionel Messi and Neymar are in the run for a place in the squad for the final game having missed the semi final owing to vary reasons.
Neymar could not feature in the semi-final against Evergrande Guangzhou on Thursday after picking up a leg problem while Messi was a last-minute withdrawal after suffering with renal colic – a condition often linked to kidney stones.
However, both players took part in training on Friday and according to AS, head coach Luis Enrique is expected to name the attacking pair in his starting XI.
In the absence of the lethal duo, it was Luis Suarez that scored a hat-trick as Barcelona eased into the final of the competition with a comfortable 3-0 win over their Chinese semi-final opponents.
The Spanish giants, who qualified for the Club World Cup courtesy of their Champions League victory earlier this year, last won the showpiece event in 2011.
