Everton are monitoring Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny as a possible transfer target this summer.
The Toffees are likely to enter the market for a new custodian at the end of the season, with veteran American stopper Tim Howard tipped to return to the MLS.
According to The Sun, the 36-year-old could depart Goodison Park with clubs in his homeland trying to persuade him for a return and manager Roberto Martinez considers Szczesny high up on his shortlist.
The Pole is currently on a season-long loan at Roma, but speculation suggests that the Serie A outfit have no interest in signing him on a permanent basis.
Everton are currently placed eighth with 35 points on the Premier League log after 25 matches this season.
