As the 2016 European Championships enter the penultimate stage as from Wednesday 6 July, four key players will not be eligible to feature for their teams.
In the first semi final match Portugal will be taking on Wales but the former will be without their dependable defensive midfielder, William Carvalho who picked up a yellow card apiece in the last 16 and quarters.
Wales, the giant killers in the tournament, will on their part miss the services of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey who has been key for the Dragons and Tottenham defender Ben Davies both who are on two yellow cards apiece.
In the second semi final, hosts France take on Germany at Stade Velodrome in Marseille, the world champions, Germany who have been hit by injury crisis will be without Mats Hummels who was booked for the second time as the side knocked out Italy on Saturday.
Meanwhile France will have two players returning from suspension – defender Adil Rami and midfielder Ngolo Kante for the Germany game.
