Lille Metropole of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has been honoured world governing body FIFA on Tuesday for his exploits in French Ligue 1.
The former Super Eagles captain who was quite ecstatic in adding yet another feather to his cap took to Instagram to share the news of his latest exploit with his fans.
“This is how goodness and mercy will follow you all this month of March. First day of the month, FIFA got me a trophy for hardwork, dedication, success,” he wrote under a photograph of himself with a plaque.
“Thank you @FIFA. I want to wish everyone reading this message a wonderful month of March. God did it for me. God will do it for us.”
Aside the milestone with Lille, Enyeama is also one of the very few Nigerian players with over 100 caps.
Unfortunately, Enyeama abruptly retired from international football last year after falling out with Sunday Oliseh, who was then the Super Eagles head coach.
He has foreclosed the possibility of coming back even with the recent exit of Oliseh.
