Egyptian star Mohammed Elneny has scooped the Arsenal Goal of the Month Award for March.
Interestingly, the goal which earned Elneny the March Award is his only strike for the Gunners since making a January move from Swiss Club, FC Basel.
During the second leg Champions League clash away to Barcelona, the Egypt international raced on to Alexis’ pass and powered a firm shot into the roof of the net for his first goal in Arsenal colours.
Elneny’s strike claimed 34 per cent of the votes cast, with Aaron Ramsey’s north London derby goal in second place.
Joel Campbell’s acrobatic effort against Swansea finished third in our official club poll while Iwobi who scooped just 4 per cent of the total votes cast finished in 5th place.
