Elderson Echijile took to social media to express his happiness following AS Monaco’s 1-0 win against Saint-Etienne.
The Nigerian was involved for the French giants in the Europa Cup on Thursday when they were comprehensively beaten 4-1 by English side, Tottenham Hotspurs at White Hart Lane.
However, Brazilian right back Fabinho was the hero in the game against Saint-Etienne as he forced a handball from defender Pierre-Yves Polom inside the box then he picked the ball and scored past goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier.
‘Awesome feeling to have bounced back after the last result #AllezMonaco,’ he tweeted.
Monaco are currently third on the Ligue 1 log with 31 points after 18 matches.
