The date for the second clash pitting the two Spanish giants Barcelona against Real Madrid has been announced.
The two rivals will face-off at the Camp Nou on Saturday 2 April with the visitors, Real Madrid eager to get a measure of revenge for the 4-0 defeat they suffered in November 2015, when playing at home against the defending champions.
A brace from Luis Suarez and a goal apiece from Neymar and Andres Iniesta ensured the Catalans smashed then manager Rafael Benitez’s side at the Bernabeu, with Isco shown a red card late on in the contest.
Barcelona are in great form, so far having gone 34 matches unbeaten and Real Madrid, will be spotting a new manager in Zinedine Zidane heading to the game and he will want to make a strong statement in his first Clasico as manager.
As it stands, Real Madrid, who lost 0 – 1 to cross city rivals Atletico Madrid are trailing Barcelona with 12 points and a trip to Catalunya early in April is not one they’d wish for.
