Nigeria defender Efe Ambrose has developed a tough skin to criticism and has vowed not to be carried away about the things people say about him.
Ambrose has been badly hit after his error in the Europa League clash at home against Fenerbahce cost Celtic vital points but the defender says he is not losing sleep on what people are saying but will instead keep working on himself to get better.
“I’m used to the criticism now, but it will never get into my head. The Super Eagles star was quoted as saying in The Scottish Sun
Ge continued: “This is life. Some people like you, some don’t. But people criticising me will only make me stronger.
“I will fight back and prove myself again.
“This kind of mistake can happen to anyone, not just Efe Ambrose.”
Ambrose has a chance to show fans in Scotland just how good he is as he teams up with his colleagues in the Nigeria national team in the friendly games against Cameroon and Congo.
Coach Sunday Oliseh drafted in Ambrose as a late replacement for injured Kenneth Omeruo.
