Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile is looking good for a return to action with his French side AS Monaco pretty soon.
The left-wing-back is returning from a spell out on the sidelines after a slight knock towards the tail end of 2015.
The Nigeria international is already heading back into training with Monaco, and he would fancy his chances; slim as they may be for a shirt in his club’s next game.
Echiejile has stated that he will soon be back playing football again after he missed Monaco’s 2-2 home draw against Ajaccio at the weekend.
Echiejile, who has played 12 Ligue 1 games for Monaco this season, last line out against Troyes in December 2015 which ended 0-0.
He has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, but the former Insurance of Benin City, Sporting Braga of Portugal and Stade Rennes of France defender says he is already on the road to recovery.
“On the path to a speedy recovery, I’ll be back soon,” he wrote on his Twitter handle and posted a short video of himself working out in the gym.
