Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile is very excited over his return to action for his French Club, Monaco having been forced out for weeks.
Echiejile on his return played all 90 minutes as Monaco forced Saint Etienne to a 1-1 draw on Sunday and the left-back was on twitter to celebrate his return even though he voiced his disappointment at not making a winning comeback.
Echejile who is touted to be one of the invitees for the crunch clash against Egypt next month in AFCON qualifiers has before now been sidelined by a hamstring injury which he picked up in training since the New Year.
With the solitary point from Sunday’s game Monaco failed to gain grounds even though they are still second on the table with 46 points from 26 matches, six points clear of third-placed St.Etienne.
Ligue 1 leaders PSG are 24 points clear at the top.
