Another player Wilfred Ndidi has hit the Super Eagles camp from his base in Belgium ahead of Tuesday’s friendly against the Luxembourg national team.
On Monday, defensive midfielder Ndidi arrived the team’s Alvisse Parc Hotel camp in Luxembourg City, bringing the number of players in camp to 21.
Midfielder Babatunde Michael, who flew to Morocco after the clash with Mali to be on duty for his club, Raja Casablanca, was being expected in Luxembourg City on Monday night.
Ndidi who has enjoyed a rewarding season with his club this season and was even voted as winner of the goal of the season award in Belgium is among the youngsters widely referred to as the future of Nigeria football .
Just on Sunday the former Nath of Lagos helped ensured that Genk will play Euro football next season as they turned around a 2-0 deficit to seal their place in the second-tier Euro club competition.
Genk lost the first leg 2-0 on Thursday, but they turned on the style on Sunday to reverse the deficit and qualify for the Europa with a 5-1 demolition of Charleroi.
Tanzania striker Mbwana Samatta was among the goal scorers for Genk as Ndidi played the entire game but was booked five minutes from time.
