Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has completed a deal for his third summer signing in Bolton Wanderers’ defender Rob Holding on a long term contract.
Holding who enjoyed a promising first senior campaign in 2015/16, making 30 appearances for Bolton and winning the club’s player of the season award becomes Arsene Wenger’s third acquisition of the summer following earlier arrivals of Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano.
The Emirates outfit in an official statement wrote: “We have agreed to sign young defender Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers on a long-term contract.”
This summer, Rob helped England Under-21s to victory in the Toulon tournament in France alongside Calum Chambers.
Rob is a versatile player, comfortable at both centre back and full back, and we look forward to him joining up with the squad. His transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
