Young South African winger Keagan Dolly, recently spoke about scoring like Cristiano Ronaldo, and he’s scored thrice in two games.
The SA U23 starlet caught the fans eye again on Saturday night, cracking a wonderful half-volley to give Sundowns the initiative against Chippa United.
“I think credit must go to the technical team for believing in me and giving me the chance to play and obviously to my teammates for always encouraging me and reminding me that I should work hard,” Dolly told the local media.
“And also to the fans that didn’t give up on us, we want to thank them as well,” he added.
Dolly struggled with injuries last season, after being touted as one of the country’s best prospects, but he’s relieved that the backroom staff had faith in him to shake through it in time.
“I think with the coach and the technical staff we have, I think they are always encouraging and I’m just happy to be playing here. I try my best every week and it’s paying off.”
