EPL leaders Leicester City are reportedly not prepared to meet CSKA Moscow’s demand for an £18m fee for Nigerian international Ahmed Musa.
The Foxes have been in talks with the Russian club regarding the former Kano Pillars man, but following interests from EPL big spenders like Manchester United, The Army men are believed to have upped their fee for the 23-year old forward who has scored 10 goals in 29 games this season in Russia’s top division.
With the new development, Leicester are said to be reluctant to meet CSKA’s asking fee of £18m for Musa according to Sky Sports.
Ahmed Musa has contractual obligations with the Russian Premier League side until the summer of 2019, having extended his contract last summer. Should CSKA refuse to back down on their demands, its means the Nigerian’s ambition of an EPL move will have to wait until next summer or see out his current deal with the Army men.
