Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia have unveiled their new players ahead of the 2016 season at an event conducted at the club’s secretariat at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Heading to the unveiling, all focus was placed on Rwandan international Jacques Tuyisenge who joins the club on a huge profile and having been the most expensive in the January transfer.
The other unveiled were Edmond Murai (Muhoroni), Gradus Ochieng (City Stars), Jacob Keli (Nkana FC), Francis Kahata (FK Tirana), Jackson Saleh (AFC Leopards), Eric Marcelo Ouma (Kakamega High School), Sammy Okinda (KCB), James Ogada and Robert Onyango.
Club chairman Ambrose Rachier, speaking at the unveiling, said he has belief in the players signed and backed them to do well for the club.
“We lost four good players and it was just important we get good players as replacements. We are happy with the players we have on board and we hope to continue from where we left last season.
“We wish those who left the best and welcome the new acquisitions with the view to do well again this season and beyond,” he noted.
