Kenyan Premier League side Nairobi City Stars has hired former Kenyan international Bobby Ogolla as the new head coach heading to the 2016 season.
Bobby, who left Gor Mahia a little over a month ago will be joining the Kawangware side on a year long deal as confirmed by the club chairman Peter Jabuya who said he is confident that together with Dennis Okoth the two will stabilize the team.
“Bobby Ogolla will be taking over at the team on a year – long contract in the 2016 season. Dennis Okoth has been out stand in coach since Kingi left and now he will be serving as the assistant.
“We have a lot of trust in the two coaches and I believe they will drive the team to greatness in the coming season. As for Okoth, here he has a chance to learn from the best,” he said.
Bobby has previously sat on the Sofapaka technical bench, serving as the assistant to Robert Matano as the team rose to win the 2009 league title.
