The plans for a better season in 2016 after a poor 2015 season have started at Chemelil Sugar FC with the club roping in Sofapaka duo of Willia Ouma and Erastus Mwaniki while Samuel Odhiambo has also joined from Ushuru FC.
The team spent most of the 2015 season in the relegation zone and coach Francis Baraza is looking to address the shortcomings.
He says with the arrival of the three, he has made good additions to the team to improve on their prospects in the season and he will be hoping for a better year.
“We had a good look at them last season and in our management decision decided they can be brought in to help address our shortcomings as we aim for a better season in 2016. Now we have a blend of youth and experience and I believe we will be well for the season,” he stated.
Chemelil is scheduled to start training on Thursday 7 January; so far only Meshack Karani is the known player to have left the club after the 2015 season.
