English champions Chelsea are reportedly ready to listen to offers for Belgian forward Eden Hazard this summer.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the club are prepared to cash in on their star man with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid both linked.
Hazard who has had a troubled campaign on the back of his excellent form last season has struggled with consistent fitness issue. He has fuelled speculation himself via interviews suggesting he would find it hard to turn down a move to French giants PSG and would also love to work with Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
Another poor error of judgement on his part in the eyes of Chelsea supporters was how he swapped shirts with Angel Di Maria at half-time of their Champions League clash on Wednesday, and the report suggests his reputation is now tarnished at the club.
Despite having gone the whole Premier League campaign without scoring, interim boss Guus Hiddink has defended the winger, insisting he is determined to finish the campaign strongly at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has heaped praise on Cesc Fabregas for the way he has recovered his form under Hiddink.
The Spain international midfielder was one of many top players criticised during the Blues’ dreadful first half of the season with Jose Mourinho at the helm.
Fabregas played an essential role in Chelsea’s comfortable route to title glory last season, and Nevin now believes he has picked up where he left off at Stamford Bridge, which could even help them at least win the FA Cup in May.
